St. Paul’s College is an unaided minority English medium institution established and administered by The Catholic Diocese of Lucknow, a charitable registered society, registered under the societies registration act XXI of 1860. The college was founded in 1957, with the object of imparting modern education primarily to catholic students in a manner that will conserve their religion, language and culture but is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community. It is equipped with modern laboratories, spacious classrooms, a well stocked library and computer laboratories.
As the formation of character is the first essential of any sound education system, great stress is laid on the inculcation of high ideals, gentle behavior and moral rectitude. Religious instruction is imparted to catholic students and all others are given a comprehensive course in moral education for inculcation of moral values. Besides, the college aims at giving a value based wholesome quality education to develop along with intellectual excellence and achievement, the multifaceted personality of the child as a moral and social being, with special emphasis to inculcate healthy human values. The college is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (I.C.S.E. – Class X) and Indian School Certificate Examination (I.S.C. –Class XII)
Besides catering to the academic course of the students the college attaches great importance to physical training, sports and other co-curricular activities having extensive play fields for hockey, football, cricket, volley ball, basket ball, badminton and athletics. Students are trained to become mature persons imbibed with values to be worthy citizens of our country.
